Is this the place to talk about old coins? Someone brought this to our museum, its an old reproduction of an older coin. Nobody here can identify it and the repro only has the one face

The finishing of the metal looks very distinctive, you could probably get more info from that. Also that the image seems etched rather than cast, which is interesting, to say the least.

Yeah it looks brushed, but its a reproduction so it may not be anything like what the finish on the original is like. Im really trying to identify where the image came from
