Western Roman Empire remained a world superpower for over 400 years. The US would be lucky if it even survives 100 years.

Over-extending is a thing you know, it was just not profitable for Rome and too far away from the homeland.

It already has. The USA was already the world's largest economy in 1900 and had de facto control of the whole Western Hemisphere. It's crushing military victories over Japan and Germany (alongside the USSR) while the old superpowers of Britain and France could do little but lose without help just made this fact obvious, it wasn't the start.

No, before WW1 the US was just another great power like Britain or Japan, nothing too special.
The US gained it's world superpower status right after WW2. It was at that moment that the US became the strongest military force in the world with a naval fleet larger than that of the rest of the world combined. Even then the Soviets were similarly powered and were also a superpower of their own.
American control over Europe and the Western hemisphere truly began after WW2, since after WW1 Britain and France still had much power. So the US has been a world superpower for 72 years now, try surviving another 28.
Are the Jews still mad about Jerusalem? You kinda deserved it though.
If you didn't want to be a Roman vassal, you probably shouldn't have asked Pompey to invade your country and end your civil war
