Should Stalingrad be regarded as the true "Battle of Nations" instead of Leipzig? Had all of the Leipzig contributors there except France and Sweden, plus the rest of Italy and Germany and various Central/North Asian and southeastern European states. Plus it was the largest battle ever.

You realise neither of the 2 have the benefit of hindsight? Our knowledge on the German army of thebwar today is 100x more detailed than 70 years ago.

Those extra units wouldn't have helped, it just would have German supply problems worse.
But otherwise yes. This debate and these threads are dumb as shit. Yes the Soviets bled and destroyed the majority of the German army, but they had massive amounts of help doing it.
A thread died for this garbage to be posted. RIP in peace
As always, the reality is that the USSR would have beaten the nazis during barbarossa even without any support whatsoever
They would not however have been able to invade germany in turn
Lend Lease made the soviet invasion of europe possible

Of course they would have helped. Instead of having a terrible romanian or italian flank you could have a top notch german one. Bad in the long run with supply and all but you cant deny that the german line was stretched thin nor did they have any reserves

Yeah, they'd probably stand somewhere in the Ukraine while the Western Allies take Berlin
