We have this thread from time to time. It's usually filled with channels about weaponry and the Great War which we all know and appreciate.
I recently found this channel which seems to be all right, rather apolitical and with good visual presentation (which is pretty rare usually it's just one guy with a camera talking). Hopefully he doesn't fuck it all up when he gets to discuss economic things.

When will anyone do something on the Pig War?

I need to put it in my thesis.

Whatever happened to that guy? It's been almost a year since he last made a new comic.

i like his spanish civil war video

His history videos are meme videos. You cannot explain a conflict like the spanish civil war or the wars of the roses in under 10 minutes and provide much detail. Basically useless videos.

That's the thing about youtube history channels. They're not books. It's supposed to be fast and easy. Something to watch when you are bored on the internet. Although with all that info it's difficult to keep track on it all if you're new to the subject. But 10 minutes or so is a decent length for such a video.

>youtube history channel
>good
pick one.
Actual historians who dedicate years of study to one specific era/event/person/etc tend to make mistakes and you trust some guy with decent video editing skill who, without a doubt, writes their script 95% based off of wikipedia?
they're fun and they're good at giving you the basics but dont 100% trust them.

What can go wrong in a 12 minute long video?
