So what about this guy is all that important? Is he just some far left guerrilla fighter, because what i read it just seems like that's all he was, as well as a ""human rights"" speaker, even though he was part of the Cuban Communist revolution and supported the Soviet Union it seemed.
Why is he considered such a influential person in history, South America, realistically is not the much of an important continent. The only country that even went full commie in the first was place was Cuba, so did he only have on real success? A success that nearly led to the extinction of the human race. I just don't get what's so important about him.
He's considered a martyr for liberation groups in central and south america, especially given that the south is still being impacted by the effects of the cold war to this day.
He's more of a figurehead than anything although he led a bunch of revolts down there.
he looks pretty
Last romantic professional revolutionary, like Garibaldi, Mierosławski, Waryński. Had limited success and good looks plus a nice photo. Essentially Big Boss

Basically this; he's romanticized as a folk hero (even though he only participated in one *successful* revolution). He was good at guerrilla warfare though.

Everyone loves the tragic hero trope. They just pick the one closest to their ideals.
They're all faggotry.
