There's no such thing as caucusoid hair. Peoples hair exist on a spectrum from extremely nappy to extremely straight depending on their genetic profile. It is highly unlikely that most ancient Egyptians had flowing straight hair, although many probably did not have uber nappy hair either. It was probably within the consistency range of modern Egyptians, Sudanese, and Ethiopians. And mind you, that would be prior to the advent of modern straightening products.
