I like exploration so probably things like footage from polar exploration (Scott and Shackleton) or Mount Everest (Mallory).

Also the space program. If you have to record something it better be a great adventure. I also like old battle footage but there's always a chance they are staged and you won't even know it. I don't know if there's a real footage of Spanish-American war for example.
