Stalin was behind the installation of Communism in the Eastern Bloc, he was the reason tensions between the USSR and America flared up, and he was the reason the Nuclear Arms Race between the two countries began. So why didn't Khrushchev end the Cold War during Destalinization?
Wouldn't it be De-Stalinization? Since Stalin is a proper noun?

He was actually going to, but then the Soviets captured an American U2 Spy Plane infiltrating their airspace in 1960. Afterwards, their negotiatons ended and tensions rose up again
