Played it a while back yeah. Still wondering if there's anything more to her.

1. Yes, she was named after Columbus (as is the country of Colombia)
2. No, there has never been a cult based around her except in vidya

Why did you use the word "Goddess" to refer to Columbia? She has never been regarded as a Goddess, only an anthropomorphic personification of the Americas.

She wasn't deified beyond symbolism to my knowledge, but a fun fact is a few isolated Hawaiians worshiped Washington as a god. American mythology is very interesting.

I worship her as a Goddess in the Greco-Roman tradition of Civic Goddesses.
