Probably art. Gets its point across, in a well done way. Sure it exposes how sexualized society has gotten, but I imagine that as a further comment within the piece.

FEMINISTS BTFO!!!1111
>le modern art meme
Why can't people realize that modern art is manifested in todays movies books and music, and not in some bullshit performance art?
And that' not even mentioning the aesthetic side of everyday products
>>2706927
I thought this was a feminist piece; a commentary on the objectification of women or whatever.
This actually makes some attempt to be understood so i guess it's not that bad.
>>2706851
nothing wrong with giving the ol' willy a little tug
>>2706851
Most weird art I know would violate the blue board rules.
>>2707020
That makes perfect sense actually.
>>2707033
nah, the mods are very forgiving when it comes to art. this was in a previous /his/ art thread
>&humanities
>>2706993
Not gonna lie this post oxidized my onions...
>>2707047
I swear /his/ doesn't even have mods. Their like Unicorns
>>2707096
I've tested them before by posting ecchi and I got banned pretty promptly.
>>2706993
>we went from bach and michelangelo to katie perie and capeshit
>>2707164
There is still good art being made, it just doesn't get much attention.
>>2707033
If it is relevant to the board topic and is not explicitly posted for the purpose of posting pornography it's fine.
>>2707131
OP said weird art, not bad art
This is a prince of Hell
>>2707270
That's a very cute prince and I would really like to go to hell to pat his head.
>>2707270
why do i have a boner?
>>2707231
are you a mod?
In any case I'll see what I have.
>>2707397
You're a very weird furfag. A featherfag. Or is it beakfag? If you're a footfag and birdfag... talonfag?
Yes, this is actually art.
>>2708502
This too, by the same artist/collective I believe.
Unrelated piece.
Degenerate Marxist-Leninist art.
>>2706851
I'm actually very sad that a lot of art has to have a shitty message about race, fem, etc. to be widely recognized by the public.
I think the worst I've was a pile of rubbish (found objects) on the ground. All that just to make me read a shit ton of text about how our society throws away too much rubbish.
In my mind I always get laughed at by the artist, because I pay entree fees.
I get the point etc. but for me it's not something that is art. It's a provocation and should be handled as that.
Might be ignorant of me, but all I want is more art that shuts down my mind and wraps me in its beauty. I just can't find that in a pile of rubbish.

Art =/= Propaganda
Orwell pls.
>>2709097
im-fucking-plying
>>2706886
>skillful execution
>women are LITERALLY objects, get it?!
>>2709097
when we live in an age where an idea can be art, art can very well be (used as) propaganda
>>2706851
We need to axe &humanities now
>>2707020
But that is rigorously logical
>>2707096
They only wake up during amerihours and then ban anybody complaining about reddit before going to sleep
>>2709369
You can post weird and interesting art throughout history here. This thread doesn't have to be a stupid feminist/performance art whinefest like some people keep trying to make it. Nothing in the OP said anything about supporting the art that was posted or even anything about concept.
>>2709353
It's just one perspective out of an infinite number.
Pic related can also be defined by it's supposed political effect it has on the one who perceives it, but is that really the entire story?
Can't have a weird art thread without Beksinski
>>2707022
shooped
>>2709066
Reminds me of the time I was in a modern art gallery where exhibits included a metal boot hanging from the ceiling and an entire room painted black.
I then went to a traditional art gallery and had a much better time.
>>2708508
I quite like this.
I wrote a 10 page essay on this painting for school
>>2709097
Art has only ever been propaganda, whether to an idea, a king, a religion, a culture. Not that this makes it anything less, it just is what it is.
>>2707020
Well yeah, there are definitions for things. Calling something this thing when it actually conforms more to the definition of this other thing is illogical.
