it would be kind of cool if it weren't so overdone

Imagine seeing classical facades, pseudogothic and mills your entire life then seeing this, it would be like "the future is now". However for some reason it became the template for tower blocks and the like. It went from a new world to wasted potential.

Post modernism is at it's best when it takes traditional design conventions, but skews them a tiny bit to make them feel alien.
