Cause that would mean people would have to read up on material that is not all that exciting. The Deuteronomist is very fascinating and I have done enough reading to know what's going on. I personally subscribe to the supplementary or Whybray/Miller form of the Deuteronomist formation not one author (Richard Elliott Friedman) or the two Deuteronomist Dtr1 Dtr2 (Frank Moore Cross).
