It's just as cherry picked as the kang stuff. The lightest skinned Ancient Egyptians were basically like modern day Levantines and Berbers, and the blackest ones were probably similar to modern day Upper Egyptians and Nubians. Egyptian sources even imply that aristocratic women who rarely went out into the sun were fair skinned, but the average man was "reddish" in skin color. I also think Herodotus basically called Egyptians most similar to lighter skinned Northern Indians, and Nubians and Ethiopians similar to dark skinned southern Indians. Which kinda correlates with modern day Egypt.
