Hasidic Judaism is fascinating to those in the know. Pretty much started in Poland. These guys are like wizards lol they even have courts.

It's not much older than America and came out of mysticism and underground Kabbalah. I always thought it was traditional but it's new like secular judaism.

Hit a resurgence when a bunch of manuals were printed. Waned during the Holocaust and then bounce back in a big way.

Lots of infighting, half of them HATE Israel the other half LOVE Israel.
