I've recently started a relationship with a girl who, like me, shares a passion for history. There are a few interesting historical sites here in South West England to visit such as Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Abbey, what I'm looking for are lesser-known historical sites we can visit on a day out. Bonus point if it's Roman-related, she loves ancient Rome

Hadrian's wall is pretty obvious if you're up north. Here's a list of Villas and shit which would be pretty interesting to visit; https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=roman+villa+in+england&rflfq=1&rlha=0&rllag=51246381,-1260060,78715&tbm=lcl&rldimm=8037613425342993766&tbs=lrf:!2m1!1e2!2m1!1e3!3sEAE,lf:1,lf_ui:2
And also Bath is pretty nice, might be packed though.
Thanks guys!

Parts of Durnovaria's original town walls are still visible in what is today the county town of Dorchester. Dorchester has a number of historical artifacts dating from Roman times. In the grounds of the County Council offices, for example, there is a Roman house with well preserved mosaic floors and an aqueduct with a covered timber-lined channel nine kilometers long.
