Really for Caracalla it was probably a day wasted if he went to bed not ahving murdered a couple dozen people at least.

Uncle or whatever since his father in law was Gaius Fulvius Plautianus who was Praetorian Prefect. Caracalla hated his wife (Fulvia Plautilla) so much that he said he'd kill both her and her father when Severus died which led to Plautianus attempting to overthrow the Severans. Plautianus was exiled for treason, Plautilla and her daughter (likely Caracalla's) were exiled and then eventually murdered on his orders.

Most of the other terrible and awful emperors had some kind of mental issue going on but in terms of out and out evil for the sake of it, it's really hard to top Caracalla.

Should be executed. But yeah, the point is Caracalla was a world class asshole. There's the Parthia war which Herodian stated started when the Parthian king Artabanus agreed to marry his daughter to Caracalla and when Caracalla and his troops showed up to Arbela they killed everyone that was there to greet them and began massacring the northern Mesopotamia. Cassius Dio states that he wanted to marry the daughter instead and Artabanus refused guessing that Caracalla would use it as a pretext to annex Parthia.

Which either one makes sense. Caracalla idolized Alexander the Great and wanted to be just like him so he started a war with Parthia to try and conquer Mesopotamia just like Alexander.
