Why do I never ever hear anything about these guys? It is an impressive territory.
From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6kt%C3%BCrks
"Göktürk means "Celestial Turks",[8] or sometimes "Blue Turks" (i.e. because sky blue is associated with celestial realms). This is consistent with "the cult of heavenly ordained rule" which was a recurrent element of Altaic political culture and as such may have been imbibed by the Göktürks from their predecessors in Mongolia.[9] The name of the ruling Ashina clan may derive from the Khotanese Saka term for "deep blue", āššJna.[10]
The word Türk meant "strong" in Old Turkic.[11]"
From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tengri
"The Göktürk khans based their power on a mandate from Tengri. These rulers were generally accepted as the sons of Tengri who represented him on Earth. They wore titles such as tengrikut, kutluġ or kutalmysh, based on the belief that they attained the kut, the mighty spirit granted to these rulers by Tengri."

Same as Kok Turks, different spelling?
They had influence in the Byzantine-Sasanian wars.

Sorta not really. The kokturks just liked to raid shit. During one war period, khosroes II was dealing with heraclius, and the kok turks came down and pillaged some of his shit. He told them if they didn't fuck off, that he'd pull shahrbaraz and the army back from throwing sticks at the byzantines and sic 'em on the turks instead, and they hightailed it out of there.
They also had dealings with the chinese.
One description of the kok turks raiding shit was something like, they murdered everyone in town, and they found an infant cleaved in two by a sword next to his mother, suckling on her blood instead of milk. They were pretty barbaric. Also good archers supposedly. The men are described as "broad faced, eyelashless, with long untended hair like women". So more chinky than modern turkroaches. They were probably closer to mongolians than to modern turkroaches.

>white ruling over the mongoloids
same with the Xiongnu
the Xiongnu name could be a cognate of Scythian, Saka and Sogdia, corresponding to a name for Northern Iranians.[24][71] According to Beckwith the Xiongnu could have contained a leading Iranian component when they started out, but more likely they had earlier been subjects of an Iranian people and learned from them the Iranian nomadic model.[24]
In the UNESCO-published History of Civilizations of Central Asia, its editor János Harmatta concludes that the royal tribes and kings of the Xiongnu bore Iranian names, that all Xiongnu words noted by the Chinese can be explained from a Scythian language, and that it is therefore clear that the majority of Hsiung-nu tribes spoke an Eastern Iranian language

Except, that's not how the clan referred themselves as. That's how Chinks did it. They called themselves "Kok" or "Gok" which basically mean the same shit with Ashina. Deep Blue.
