I DO NOT KNOW IF IT ACTUALLY DESERVES THE TITLE OF "GREATEST MUSICAL CREATION IN HISTORY", BUT IT IS ONE OF THE GREATEST.

MY FAVOURITE PART IS "GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG", PARTICULARLY THE LAST THREE SCENES OF ACT III, "STARKE SCHEITE", "MEIN ERBE NUN", AND "FLIEGT HEIM IHR RABEN", ESPECIALLY THE "DECCA RECORDS" VERSION PERFORMED BY GEORG SOLTI, STARRING BIRGIT NILSSON.

Wagner doesn't interest me greatly, but I'd like to go to a full series of the ring cycle. I've gone to several performances with excerpts, but I'm never in the right place at the right time and with enough money to attend a complete production.
