Am I the only one who seems to think philosophy is worthless?
It doesn't produce or provide anything.
Also everything people care about gets meaning either through religion of science.
I'm the opposite
science is merely a branch of philosophy
and religion is merely a placeholder for it
At least try to put some effort.

I concur, humanities should be completely removed from educational facilities and STEM made mandatory learning. Imagine the advancements we could make this way.
It's painful to think that people like OP actually exist.

Say that to my face and not online and see what happens, motherfucker.

>he thinks he can define worth without philosophy

Seconded.
>Imagine a world without Metaphysics or Epistemology [which creates the logical framework in which science is even possible]
>Imagine a world without Ethics
>Imagine a world without Politics [jokes aside]
Philosophy is like Mathematics. Just because you don't use it every day doesn't change the fact that it influences almost everything you interest with. Everything from the moral beliefs of your peers to the political system you link under to how you perceive the world is colored by philosophy.

Believing philosophy is worthless is in itself a philosophy.
