Is it a good idea to teach myself a language using Google translate?

That sounds terrible. Even those lazy milquetoast normie apps are a step up from that.

no. learn it by reading books with a page in original language on the left and a translation on the right. its so easy and every book shop sells books like these.

Honestly yeah. The only think you need to know first is grammar but if you are looking up common words and that it works which is all that matters.
