Oh, I think that second study was somewhat flawed because it controlled for BMI which itself is partly a function of testosterone. The first study shows a 14% difference. A good review of all the literature (both for and against)

Of course the author has his viewpoint that it is indeed the case. Also, this explains why black men have highest rates of prostate cancer. I'm not going to try larping as a scientist myself but I just think this makes too much sense for it not to be the case.

Yes, its a mix of "softwiring" (culture, experiences, etc..) and "hardwiring" (biological factors like T in this case).

A man may be in his peak testosterone in high teens and 20s. At say 40, he may still partake in crime because the cultural conditioning of his youth is still present despite the T levels having dropped off. It is unlikely that he will be as daring as he was in his youth though.
