Who is the greatest modern artist of all time?
My choice is Dali, followed up by Max Ernst, Joan Miro, and Pablo Picasso

Picasso is the right answer.

Dali was a degenerate and an edge lord

Greatest probably Picasso by virtue of his craft, innovation, and influence. Duchamp a close second but he doesn't really have the kind of stature that Picasso has, even though his innovation and influence is greater. But greatness doesn't really matter so I prefer Duchamp because I'm not really into the 'exclusive modernism' of formalism. Pollock is also a great.

Picasso due to the sheer amount of work he left behind. Duchamp due to his enormous intellect countering the pure skill and talent Picasso had.
Lets see some pieces then.

I'm not sure that's the best question for a good discussion, "greatest" leaves you to choose between a handful of influential artists already discussed to death. Although a small mercy is that it would exclude >Beksinski!, I'm almost as sick of seeing that memester over and over again on here as I am Der Autismuser über dem Nebelmeer.

Bazille and Marc both died in war so they had some sense of duty and courage.
