I fully agree. I dont like the things he did in Georgia and the rest of his campaign, but he really gained my respect with his repentance for his actions. Too often we hear of awful things happening and condoned by leaders in war and nothing about the regret. Have you read his memoirs? Pretty cool dude later in life from what I remember reading.
