How cool is it that we now have the ability to see. From the comfort of our own home, and with only a few seconds of writing. What before would of taken weeks if not years of travelling around the world, going at different museums (if it wasn't outright impossible to see due to being in some private collection) ?
Do you think this is a good thing? Or maybe the fact that we can find these things so easily has made us value them less? Do you enjoy looking at art online the same way you enjoy it IRL? Or do you think there's something special about being face to face with it?

Looking at things on a computer screen is like reading about places back then. It's not a real experience.
It's different experience when it's face to face.

I find this to be truth with ancient things, like, the experience of "holy shit, I am actually in front of a painting by whatshisface from 200 years ago" But it doesn't happen too much if it's a modern piece of art.
the world's become a much more boring place ever since i was able to read about it from the comfort of my own home

It's gotten a lot smaller over time.
But we still have the stars to look out to.
