Burgundy the country might of been rich, however it was an ugly abomination on the map with shit like noncontinuous land. Map Aesthetics are more important than Cultural and Linguistic divides. France's Natural Border is the L E F T B A N K O F T H E R H I N E
>>2580009
>it was an ugly abomination on the map with shit like noncontinuous land.
Every cunt in Europe during the 15th century had border gore, this is no argument.
>>2579735
the guy who triggered the king of burgundy is dead event
>>2579735
Absolute madman who crashed the modestly strong and affluent Duchy of Burgundy with no survivors
>>2580009
>Aesthetic borders
>a plausibility
lol almost every border before the Napoleonic Wars was ugly as sin. Hell most of them were and are after, continuous or not.

t. salty Frenchie
Do you guys think he was quickly killed in battle, or did the Swiss play games with him, like they did with Stuessi? Like cutting his belly fat out while he is still alive and shining their boots with it? Or ripping him a new asshole and then fucking said hole?
I really wonder if they let him go lightly.
also, id you know that the French made best efforts to start this war between Burgundy and the Swiss? The French used Bern as their proxy to provoke the war and they took all of the spoils.

Another plot of the perfidious frogs left unknown to the people.

Actually its unlikely that the axe part was used to kill him as Halbergs weren't used as an axe weapon but more like a spear.
>>2581531
Why would the French be salty? Arent they the ones that won in the end?
>>2584658
yeah well, his head was split in two from top down to the chin.
So go fuck yourself and your theories.
>>2580009
Burgundy would have been aesthetic as fuck if Charlie the halberd had succeeded in his ambitions
>>2585223
this
i'd love a strong buffer between germany and france
>>2584658
I'm pretty sure it was used however the guy using it felt.
Richard III was also believed to be killed by being axed with a halberd, so whatfor now DingyBarge?
>>2585551
>i'd love a strong buffer between germany and france
So does everybody else, thats why Switzerland still exists.
>>2584658
Christ, that video irked me so much.
Early Swiss halberd heads were basically voulges, meaning they had big nasty cutting edges. Halberds at their zenith also had relatively short spikes, although variations always exist.
Fundamentally we have to remember there was no detailed, standardised pattern for them. There were trends and individual preferences, so it's obvious that different halberds were made with different priorities in mind.
>>2582692
>perfidious frogs
They used the Swiss as their personal goons for almost 4 centuries.

There are people on /his/ right now that take Lindybeige seriously.
How does one manage to lose against some hillbillies with Europeans most modern army?
>>2580009
Left bank of the Meuse and the Seone you mean.
>>2587999
Because the hillibillies were very modern too.
Generally the front ranks were really well equipped even in "peasant" armies.
>>2588115
I like your OC, here is a pic of a late 15th century Swiss halberd, just to keep things real.
>>2588085
Still a feat to lose with such superiority of arms.
