Literally because the Junkers and the Industrialists told him to purge the NSDAP and the SA of socialist elements or else they're gonna install a martial law with Hindenburg as a dictator, which would ensure Hitler would never get into power. The German people hated the Jews because the blamed them for all the internal corruption and workers riots that crippled Germany at the end of the war leading to it losing ww1. Hitter used this as a political tool and it just flung out of control after that. As a big fan of national socialism, it’s a shame that the actions of one guy killed off an entire ideology just because its association to racism.

This is not really true. Most German people didn't hate the Jews. Hitler was popular because of his economic policies and thanks to propaganda. In most of his public speeches he barely mentioned Jews.

Hitler was popular because Strasser and other socialist gauleiters won him Prussia specifically by promising people there an implementation of socialist policies. While revanchism was a thing in Germany, it was far less important than people not having anything to eat. To reduce NSDAP's success to LE JEWS you are ironically buying into Jewish propaganda.
