He was right about literally everything, wasn't he?
>>2549999
he wasn't right about clowns
>>2549999
Yep.
>inb4 C.S. Lewis
He was dead wrong when he said Christianity was Plato for plebs.
Christianity far outdoes Plato.
>>2550202
And what he actually said outdoes your simplistic misconceptions.
>>2550167
Explain this C.S. Lewis meme to me pls.
>>2550291
Pretty much any time atheism, or any atheist thinkers are mentioned, some dude comes along with the same copy-pasted post about how fantastic Lewis was and how he refuted Nietzsche, and any other relevant philosophers. Sometimes, he doesn't even need that justification.

QUADS OF TRUTH
CHRISTFAGS BTFO
>>2550291
He was a shallow smartass that defended a superficial view of Christianity while claiming to have understood and somehow disproved Nietzsche, a man waaay above his head.
But then again, he's very very frequently misunderstood and underestimated.

Just shut the fuck up already.

This pretty much. Listen to the C.S. Lewis BBC talks. There's a nice (well, not that nice provided he agrees with these) channel with videos that visualize his thoughts with doodles. But it's terribly superficial, talks nonsense about scientific stuff he knows nothing about, disregards history and evolution, both biological and social and follows an I'm right because I have to be right agenda. He literally says in one of his videos that either option X or Christianity has to be wrong, but since Christianity CAN'T BE wrong by default it is logical to conclude that X is wrong and goes about to "refute" X. Also in the end he doesn't really make a conclusion.
I don't think he was a bad person though. He is pleasant to listen to as he was a man of literature and his morality is generally sound as far as society goes, but his "proof" for it being objective is an antithesis of philosophy, the very denial of deep thinking itself.

No, fuck you Jake. Shut up and keep sucking it.
>>2550658
P.S. you're a faggot and convert to islam
>>2550399
tbqh the fact that anyone is using a children's fiction author as """"""proof"""""""" of their religion is laughable.

> I do not want "believers”, I think that I am too full of malice to believe even in myself; I never speak to masses. I have a terrible fear that one day I shall be considered "holy”. You will understand why I publish this book beforehand—it is to prevent people from wronging me. I refuse to be a saint; I would rather be a clown. Maybe I am a clown. I am nevertheless, or rather not nevertheless, the mouthpiece of truth; for nothing more false has ever existed than a saint.
