I could literally join my professor who is part of a project there and I'd be allowed to wander in there as much as I want.
Also it's epic that people cry about the library of alexandria but then completely forget about the Vatican archives which is 90 % unexplored historical material and 80 kilometers of bookshelves(50 miles for clapistanis) filled to the brim.
That's not even necessary though because the Vatican figured out that they're so bad at figuring out what's actually in there that they're scanning the books and putting them on the internet so that random visitors could figure out what they are. Just have patience.
