Positivism is not a threat to ethical philosophizing, which I'm 99% certain is your overriding concern, only to metaphysics. The funny thing is even Carnap had to concede to the likely existence of abstract entities. Logical positivism has become a bogeyman for low-information "auto-didactic" teenagers who started with Nietzsche instead of the Greeks. It's really embarrassing
