What are some accurate depictions of war and history in movies,

Doesnt exist. It sucks that I used to practise HEMA. Watching arrows and blades pierce plate make me cringe everytime. Modern history though, I liked War Horse.

There aren't any, really

In the context of a duel the only historical media I've seen get it more are less right are The Duellists and Rob Roy, and even then it's not perfect, some things are very obviously done for the sake of choreography but less so than in other films
