Teach me about postmodernism and reactions to it, as well as modern competing movements. I'm especially interested in postpostmodernism and metamodernism. Are these movements legitimate in your opinion? Why or why not? Is metamodernism related to hyperreality?
I could probably tell you about remodernism? Not mucht to say though.

... Oh. That's literally the president of a religious group. Huh.
I don't think I'm going to spend almost an hour watching a dude from a religion I don't follow talk about a topic I have little grounding in. At least, not without a strong counterpoint. How thoroughly does his christian worldview affect the lecture here?

>Remodernism
a folk musician called billy childish and his mate get really pissed off about the the state of contemporary art in britain and the "ybas", the young british artists, so they write a manifesto about "remodernism" espousing a return to spirituality in art an form "the stuckists, the first remodernist art group"
with that group they abandon their ideals and manifesto as soon as, perhaps even before they started to just shitpost and moan about the arts establishment, the turner prize and the ybas

It doesn't, really.
He's a Reformed Christian talking to Christians in a church, but he's not preaching theology or the Bible. He's talking about postmodernism and explains what it is.

Alright, I watched about... 40 minutes of it. It was a bit helpful.
