So I wanted to know about the people supporting Third Reich.
How did they went totally with them? How easy was it for the people to see the other humans getting hurt/killed.
Is the term 'mass-masochism' has any relation to it?
In a larger perspective, how does people support governments actions even though the government is screwing them but people are feeling happy because someone else is getting screwed up more.
How does that happen?

People don't pay much attention, they're busy living their lives, it's easy to see anyone you don't know as "other" and even if it's someone you know, you make up an excuse so you can keep on going "They must have done Something to deserve it...the world makes sense...I'm sure of it." In the end, whatever resistance there was, was not organized enough. Most people who want to change their government don't do anything about it, cause they'd have to give up their life and become an insurgent, which has a much higher probability of death or imprisonment than it does of success. Same reason Liberals aren't trying to overthrow the government now, and why conservatives didn't try to overthrow the Obama government.

Then what about the people who actually wanted to go against such government.
What is different in their minds than the regular people?
Are they more educated?
Wealthy?
Or just with more wisdom?
Sorry if I am asking too many questions. I wanted to find some trends to separate people into classes.
You know how the US gov drones people in the middle east and spys on everyone?
You know how you don't like it, but also don't really know any of the details, and it really doesn't affect you? And in the time theres a pretty decent argument for the government being right to do so?
Its just like that.
