Ah, Mosaic Law.

Mosaic Law given by God, the Law Giver, was intended to demonstrate that mankind's adherence to the satanic gospel, "eat the fruit, know good and evil, and be like God" had standards, and those standards were perfection. And humanly impossible. So the Mosaic Law was intended to bring a person to despair, knowing that he would never be like God, and thus in his despair reaching out for the grace and mercy of God, and finding it in Christ Jesus.

The Law of Sin and Death did nothing but condemn mankind to death. The punishment for breaking any of the Law is death.

But grace and truth came with the Son, Jesus Christ, and in Him we find the righteousness that cannot be found under the Law.
