And yeah he's pretty reliable on a lot of subjects but not so much on others. Particularly Dresden.

He is not an historian and can't be take serious. The only work of him that is still reliable, is The Mare's Nest. It is the only one that historian still use as a source.

He seems a good archivist. The way he located Hitler's doctor's diary to prove he was a drug addict was pretty impressive.
