They are alive and relatively well: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_Christians , despite living for 1400 years under "oppressive Muslim rule".

Question: why do Arab Christians and Redditors always push "muh opressive "muslim rule narrative when ..i mean, they still exist. If Muslims really wanted to eliminate you they had centuries to do it and it would have been done. Compare this with how Christians at the time treated Pagans- who by the way don't exist anymore. Also see how they treated Christian "heresies".
all they had to do was pay a tax, which by the way the Muslims also paid also in the form of Zakat.
Ungrateful in my opinion.

They like to pretend that they're white. Same with autistic Iranian diaspora.

The Turks removed almost all Christians from Anatolia though

That had much more to do with autistic nationalism than with Islam.
It's not a coincidence that all the Ottoman genocides occurred in the 20th century.

I think they enjoy the attention they get from conservative groups and evangelists since they finally get to be relevant

A wholely separate issue considering the thread is about Ghassanids who were in the Arab levant. Nonetheless, the whole removal of Christians was mostly done in the last century with the last days of the Ottomans and the subsequent population exchange with Greece.

Being opressed doesn't mean genocided.
By your reasoning slaves weren't opressed since their descendants are alive today.

its not claiming they were oppressed at times thats annoying. Its how they like to build the narrative that they bravely resisted the genocidal Muslims who wanted to convert them at sword point to retain their religion when for the vast majority of history Muslims didn't even bother with it.

Don't compare paganism to christianity treating them like they're on the same footing with each other. Pagans knew there was something better or else they wouldn't have converted. Arab christians managed to not convert because islam isn't as far ahead of christianity as christianity is to paganism. they're on much more equal grounds

>. Pagans knew there was something better or else they wouldn't have converted
or..as in the case with the saxons, Lithuanians, Mordvins, etc they converted because they would be killed otherwise
> islam isn't as far ahead of christianity as christianity is to paganism. they're on much more equal grounds
okay, this sentiment is probably correct to be honest and is probably the reason why we don't see as much conversion between abrahamic faiths. However if the Islamic Caliphate eventually launched a full inquisition style campaign to root out Christianity it could have been done.. albeit very difficult given the huge numbers of Christians
