Are Indians part of the Caucasian race?
Does it matter? You would still perceive them differently from other Caucasian nationalities in one way or another regardless.
India is too large and diverse, you have to specify a specific area.

Yes.

There was a U.S. court case I recall that concluded although Indians were not technically White, they were Caucasian.

Caucasoid Indians are, dravidians and others are not. There's a caste system, but who knows how much mixing happened over the years. Some are clearly caucasoid, while others clearly look and smell like literal poopoo.
Northern Indians are indo-aryans, hence related to the rest of us. Dravidians aren't.
Are Jatts/Panjabi indo aryan? Am I a race betrayer if my wife is from that area?
