Well Australia certainly is. It has a strong economy and high living standard. As does Canada and New Zealand.

India does have a lot of problems as they are not a natural country but they do manage to be the largest democracy in the world. If they want to continue using Raj era train systems and not build indoor plumbing I’m not really sure if that Britain’s problem.

Iraq is a shit hole, but that’s largely due to the 2003 invasion.

'Africa' is a continent not a country. Also the French, Portuguese, Belgians and Germans all had large colonial possessions in Africa, so that continents challenges can’t really be laid at the feet of the Brits.
