What's up with this?
Are Romanians or Hungarians Slavic? Or is the Black Sea some mythical Slavic territory that went underwater like Atlantis? Someone explain please.

Slavs were already in the Ballans when the Magyars invaded the Carpathian basin

Both romanian and hungarian have strong slavic influences, but they belong to diffrent language families. But if you mean ethnicly, then as far as i know most hunagrians are in fact, slavs
The Romanians just kinda sat on their land since roman times while various migrating peoples went all over the place while the Hungarians are descended from steppe peoples.

>Are Romanians or Hungarians Slavic?
Genetically, Hungarians are. Romanians not so much.

Slavic tribes inhabited territories in modern Austria, Hungary, Romania and Moldova. In Austria, the vast majority were assimilated throughout the years, leading to only a small minority of Slovenes in the south. In Hungary, the Hungarians settled Pannonia, disappearing as an ethnicity but forcing their languge upon the natives. In Romania, there was already a non-Slavic population (Dacians) before the arrival of the Slavs.
Balkan 'Slavs' are not Slavic. They belong to the Dinaric phenotype which is completely different from the East Slavic one. They have more to do with Mediterraneans than East Slavs.

Slavic isn't an ethnic group, silly. It's a linguistic one.
