Were the dwarves of European folk stories real? Do they still exist? Were there any other cultures in the world that strongly believed in the existence of non-human but not necessarily supernatural beings in the world?

Yes, they were a highly advanced race related to the NUBIAN AFRICAN QUEENS, but due to their size, they decided not to fight barbaric whities, so they got back to the MELANOID PLANET before crackers destrid it

Yes

Why yes of course. Same as with dragons, all cultures' folklore knows about dwarves. For dragons we know they meant dinosaurs who lived on eart´h at the same time as man. And dwarves are certainly as real.

You should probably read about dwarves before assuming the coal-black pixies of Norse mythology are equivalent to the Tolkien short men you're posting about, meaning your "dwarves of European folk stories" premise is flawed from the start.
Dwarves seem reminiscent of Neolithic farmers from Anatolia who flooded into Europe before Indo-Europeans.
Most likely coincidental though.
The answer, suprisingly, is yes
