What exactly is Tajikistan?
persian LARPers at first glance, but they seem to be a mix of Schytian/Turkic tribes that survived the great mongol BBQ in Transoxiana

Land of cute people and unibrows

How come the one on the left looks like a Turk but the others look European?
>>2420552
might be russian
>>2420553
Nah, ethnic Russians make up less than 0.5% of the population of Tajikistan.
I guess Tajiks in Tajikistan have some Turkic admixture in their genes? A lot of them look like Uzbeks
It's interesting because the Tajiks of Afghanistan look pretty much 100% caucasian

going by that flag it seems to be a fan of Hungary

Central Asia took Soviet policies and ran with them even after their old overlord broke apart.
Turkmenistan is a fine example of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNJS2-Zv-Tc
Tajikstan is one of the 'stans that slipped back into religious factions and parties dominating the country. Extremism did not erupt, but religious policies are evident in the government. A recent bill passed in their government gives a punishment of seven years for witchcraft - still better than the stoning and mob policies. When ISIS began stirring shit up in the Middle East, it got some extremist factions in Tajikstan fighting. The government cracked down on them in hopes of gaining favor from Russia. It worked. Russia is organizing much of Central Asia into a military coalition to combat extremists spread throughout Central Asia.
Uzbekistan has violent policies against Islam in their country. Any religion really, but Islamic factions were all but smashed in the 2000s. They have a problem with movie piracy there oddly enough. Look up the scandal that involved a movie using Morgan Freeman on their final poster but never actually featured him in the movie. It's hilarious.
Kyrgyzstan has a small tradition of bride stealing. Kind of insane, but they hate Mongols with a passion. Their national pride is about a guy named Manas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMDklwoLf34 and they are a very pastoral people still. Islam is prevalent there but extremism has not taken root there
