It's well known that millions of native Americans were killed by diseases that European settlers brought with them.
Why did the reverse not happen? Why were European settlers not killed off by native American diseases?
maybe something to do with the plague.

The natives didn't have any as deadly as European ones. They did give us Syphilis, and that killed Capone, so I think we're even now.

Europe had a huge population at the time compared to anywhere else in the world comma and this made for viral and bacterial breeding ground the likes of which no one had ever seen. The Native Americans on the other hand we're very sparsely populated and had never had an opportunity to gain immunity to such virulent pestilences like those the Europeans carried
