Why were Germans so autistic about making Berlin the capital of Germany after 1991? Berlin had no significance aside from being capital of the Prussian army, a past Germans were apparently trying to turn away from? There are much more relevant cities to German history, such as Frankfurt which was the capital of the Rhine Confederation and the Deutsches bund? Munich and Düsseldorf have way more culture than Berlin.
And why was Bonn picked as a capital for west Germany? Why not Frankfurt or cologne?

a) Talk about your own country instead of making assumptions
b) If you have questions, ask without making assumptions
c) German unification in 1871 had Berlin as a capital. A unified Germany needs to have Berlin as a capital. Otherwise it wouldn't be Germany.
d) The Rheinbund was a German vassal state, just as Western germany and the DDR were.
e) Munich and Düsseldorf do not have more culture, they have more clueless tourists
f) Bonn was picked as a temporary Hauptstadt so Adenauer could just hop over the fence to get to work.
