The real question is why doesn't everyone else hate Britain? Everyone knows about the German, Russian, Chinese and even some American atrocities. But the eternal anglo is forever innocent, standing unchallenged on his moral highground, yet at the same backstabbing his allies left and right.

Which itself is due to America (current cultural hegemon) seeing them as their oldest enemy and mother nation (thus leading them to overrate them heavily and to center everything around them)
