And worst of all

Nice meme, Manstein.
theres no good more here
you mobilized the main armament of your armies
you desperately need to equal the ever growning differences by making a solid strike
you know the enemy is prepared
probably not launching an attack was still a better option and use the panzers as firefighters grinding down soviet material and willpower

>Germans are red and Soviets blue
REEEEE it's always vice versa

What would happen if Kursk was a German victory?

Wizards riding dragons siege Moscow, since only in a fantasy world would the Germans win at Kursk.

Probably whole lot of nothing really. If the Germans somehow managed to encircle 300,000 guys in Kursk, it still wouldn't be enough to offset the resource disparity between Germany and the Soviets.
Germany had used almost all of their best troops and Operation Citadel was running on fumes. Germany just couldn't replace the losses they would get during Operation Citadel. Even if battle of Kursk was successful, only thing it would have done in best case scenario was to give the Germans back the initiative they lost during Stalingrad, and that would have been lost when the winter came.

>attack the most obvious spot on the map
>wait for several months to prepare to allow slavs to dig in
no shit it was autism

It was seen as the last best attempt the Germans had at forcing the Soviets into a separate peace, and that itself was a long shot.
What made it a position that absolutely had to be attacked was because nearly 1/4 of the Red Army was positioned inside that salient, managing to encircle and cut off that many Soviet soldiers would've been a kick in the teeth, but not a deathblow like Stalingrad was to the Wehrmacht.
Best case scenario was that the encirclement works, the Red Army is kneecapped with so many soldiers trapped inside, Stalin signs a separate peace and the Eastern Front is closed.
Chances of that happening were pretty slim, but Hitler took the gamble, only to call the whole thing off after it became clear that no breakthrough was going to happen, while an invasion of Sicily was happening.

I'm not sure if Stalingrad was deathblow to the Wehrmacht. Sure they lost a lot of guys but still a lot less then the soviets and not nearly as much as operation bagration. I think they might've even lost more troops in North Africa, being captured by the allies in Tunisia.
