I am by no means an expert but I often see very idiotic opinions about Rome on his. This is kinda surprising because Rome is so well studied and there is so much good information out there to learn from.
For a prime example people always talk about how splitting up the empire was a mistake. They often blame Diocletian and pay no attention to all the history that happened before and after.

This is because (most of) /his/ is contrarian and hates actual history, instead choosing to spout memes and inform people that they should return to either reddit or /pol/ if they make an actual point.

See part of me believes that most of the people aren't just spouting memes but they just don't know.
