The French struggles in Indochina and Algeria are fascinating to me but as an English speaker it is hard to find anything on them. Can anyone dump some English language sources on French colonial wars? Personalities too like Marcel Bigeard etc

Difficult to find sources even in French tbqh. Our Army is nicknamed the "Great Mute". I can recommend movies though. Pierre Schoendoerffer made a bunch abount Indochina, and there's always the movie "The Battle of Algiers"
