if you don't mind subtitles, there is a hilarious german movie called "look who's back" about adolf hitler waking up in 2015 berlin. he is the actual hitler, has no idea how he went from april 1945 to the present day, and everybody else is convinced he is some sort of ultra serious method actor.

Great Tier:

>Look Who's Back
10/10 bants movie about hitler waking up in 2015. Very funny.

>Last Kingdom
Like Vikings, but with anglos and daneclaws in England and a bit less fantasy.

>Siege of Jadotville
An interesting movie about the early days of the UN, and an irish war movie that isn't about civil war or rebellions. It's about Irish lads in the congo holding off mercenaries and dindus for several days against all odds.

>Tokyo Trials
It's about the Tokyo Trials. It's okay.

>The Crown
Very well produced movie about Queen Lizzy's personal life leading up to and including her reign.

>Fury
Sickass movie about a tank in the last days of WW2.

>The King's Speech
Movie about George V overcoming his confidence issues.

Good/Okay tier:

>Hitler: The Rise of Evil
Interesting documentary drama about Hitler's youth and rise to power. Bit cringey at times.

>Marco Polo
Bit of a slow burning series about Mongols, no idea if its accurate at all.

Shit tier:

A series about the 1916 Rising, which I think is shit because it's inaccurate as dicks and completely and entirely misses several key points of the rising's execution and mood. They also swapped descriptions of it from "a movie about the 1916 rising" to "3 strong women struggle between being british or irish in a troubled time" because the show's so fucking dull and spends way too much time on 3 relationships.
