How do we transfer Marx ideas into modern day?
Mainly the equalization of all classes and stands?
>>
just eliminate the ownership of capital
>>
>>2384241
And do what with it?
>>
>>2384241
I don't think that will work that easy
>>
>>2384234
Post-scarcity socialism. >>2384241
Just invest into AI and automatization and it will eventually eliminate labour and force governments to start to radically redistribute wealth (universal basic income).

Then get into power and take the next step to nationalize all those already heavily taxed industries.
>>
>>2384361
>nationalize
What is this, the 20th century?
>>
I don't want to be equal, most people don't want to be equal, most people will fight to ensure there is always someone lower on the food chain than them.
>>
>>2384361
It's sad that you don't see the inherent trap of relying on the government for your sustenance.

You must suit marx ideological frame to fit with modern ideals, such as equality, liberalism, etc, it is also essential that old ideas such as faith, family, and tradition or anything that reinforce hierarchy to be rid of, in order to create an equal condition. Thus subversion and creation of new culture is essential to prepare the masses for the new political Zeitgeist, then you have a revolution

The answer is cultural Marxism
>>
>>2384378
We keep animals though. They're lower on the food chain by definition. I don't need to fight for that.
>>
>>2384234
Wait until robots take all the jobs
>>
>>2384361
>nationalize
>not give it to the workers
>mfw the left will never ever get rid of the leninist meme
>>
>>2384234
We don't. Marx ideas were based on a completly different time and written under completly different economical and social circumstances.
Many of what he wrote about was rendered obsolete by the advancements in labour conditions that people have achieved, in part thanks to his inspiration, since then.

And some of his ideas just were never really realistic in the first place. Read: All workers globally sharing a common cause.
>>
>>2384455
We can't fully empathise with animals though so the pleasure we get from their subordination is muted.
>>
>>2384511
>Many of what he wrote about was rendered obsolete by the advancements in labour conditions
To be fair, his theory of exploitation (as that of socialist ricardians and others) doesn't become invalid as long as capitalist profit exist. Yes, workers make more money, but they still do less than what they produce (maybe even proportionally less than in marx's time).
>>
>>2384361
Why yes, putting all the industries controlled by capitalist oligarchs into the hands of a new government oligarchy will surely liberate the workers this time!
>>
>mfw i cannot comprehend the obsession that the West has with Marx

He was a hack. His philosophy sucks, his weltanschauung sucks, his ideology sucks. Such an overrated loser.
>>
>>2384520
Yes, I do appreciate your point. There is definitely a pecking order type mechanic that we want to satisfy with our own striving in life, hence equality is not permissible on some level.
>>
Realistically 'we' (whoever is being referred to) need a new Marx, someone who is serious about figuring out how economics functions. Marx picked a side, obviously, but he still attempted to form an objective understanding of economics and formulate a working theory, because without those things it wouldn't be possible to work towards ideological goals. Capitalists generally aren't interested in that kind of knowledge, which is why they rarely know when to cash out before a crash.
