Is the 1800s-1930 the worst time period to live in?
>tfw born to late to be a knight
>tfw born to early to not die of polio
its my favorite time period desu
>middle ages
>be a knight
You'd be more likely to be an infant caught up in the absurdly high child mortality rates of the time.

>not marching in lockstep with your comrades and killing niggers like all us /pol/lacks wish to
Conversely was 1700-1800 the best time period to be alive?
>Born too late to be a feudal serf
>Born too early to be an industrial wagecuck
>Born just in time for agrarian proto-socialism.

>Explorers' Golden Age
>Not the best time period to live in

More like
>born just in time to die in a major european war
>>2371812
>tfw will never be a middle class officer in georgian britain who has his career put on hold for decades because i can't afford the commission but then the american revolution breaks out and I finally get a chance to shine only to serve under Burgoyne
Why live

To be quite honest I'd take fighting in a 18th century European war over a 19th or 20th century European war.
Industrial total war is the most brutal thing the world has ever witnessed.
You could never have been born in any previous age, or later age for that matter. If "You" would have been born 100 years prior, then "you" would have had different parents, been born in a different location, had a different upbringing with different friends and different toys and different culture, thus that would not have been "You". The You, who is reading this right now, could only have been born in the time when you were in fact born, for this reason, where every moment in your life so far, lead up to reading this post.
So it's useless to speculate what it would have been to be born in an earlier age.
