Conservatism is a sham ideology.

Most conservatives are capitalists which is a contradiction. For capitalism inherently breeds technological, architectural, artistic, social change and progress which is an antithesis to conservation.

How come American "Conservatives" never seem to support the return of the monarchy and British rule?
You'd think the most conservative position would be to say that the American revolution and revolutions in general are abominations against God and that people must be ruled by a monarch.
They also support the republic, universal suffrage and other bizarre liberal novelties.
They're just godless liberal commies, apparently.
